UT-Martin Adds National TV Tilt
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – A seven-game agreement with the Ohio Valley Conference and CBS Sports Network was announced today, as the University of Tennessee at Martin’s home basketball game against Murray State will be broadcasted live to a national television audience on Saturday, Jan. 30.
Tipoff for the contest against the Racers is set for 3 p.m.
This means that for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign, the Skyhawk men’s basketball program will have a pair of home games broadcasted live on national television. Last month, the OVC announced that UT Martin’s matchup against Belmont on Jan. 21 would be aired on ESPNU.
The OVC and the CBS Sports Network are in the third year of a partnership agreement. CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, is available across the country through local cable, video and telco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 221 and DISH Network Channel 158.
