Tennessee Tech to host 2018 PG
McCallie point guard Junior Clay plans to evaluate Tennessee Tech Labor Day weekend. This will not be an official visit, but he will get back in the coming months too, he shared.
Remember the Golden Eagles offered Chattanooga Elite point guard Junior Clay (McCallie) late July.

“It is just an unofficial, but I will be taking my official soon,” said Junior Clay of the OVC program.
Junior Clay ran with Chattanooga Elite AAU. His high school team, McCallie tends to be very competitive. Look for them to compete all winter in pursuit of a state title.
“He is very aggressive,” said AAU teammate Mullek Bradford. “He can put the ball in the hoop. He has that killer mentality. He is always working on his game.”
One concern about Clay’s game is simply his size. He enters his senior season at about 5-foot-11 and 140 pounds.
“I think he needs to get bigger, as far as weight room…obviously you can’t get bigger (taller). As long as he can get stronger he will be fine.”
How does he attack bigger guards, which he will have to do at OVC or any college level?
“He can handle really well,” said AAU teammate Bradford. “He has a quick first step. I think he will be fine.”
