Southeast Missouri to Host SF Saturday
Last month OVCHoops reported that Class of 2017 forward Alou Dillon (WI) is getting a push from Southeast Missouri.
“American will be coming tomorrow,” said Dillon. “Also, going on an unofficial visit Saturday at Southeast Missouri State.”
Wisconsin-Green Bay and Air Force have been by Wauwatosa West High School to observe Dillon’s progress this fall.
“Green Bay is trying to get me to come up there soon,” said Dillon.
Dillon is capable of playing either forward spot at the OVC-level.
“They (Southeast Missouri) have been talking to me since August,” said Dillon. “They like my ability to stretch the floor and also attack the basket.”
Head Coach Rick Ray sees Dillon as a small forward for the Redhawks.
“I talk to Coach (Adam) Gordon and I have been talking to Coach Ray a little bit too,” said Dillon. “Coach Ray seems like a very nice guy. He likes to talk a lot of sports with me. I usually talk to the assistant more often. Coach Ray sometimes texts me and tells me how his team is doing. He seems like a welcoming guy and a nice coach.”
The Redhawks are building back up. Dillon would be a nice fixture in that l0ng-term plan. Saturday he will see what Southeast Missouri truly has to offer.
