EKU offers Duo
EKU Team Camp revealed the depths of Kentucky’s 2018 class. Following a blistering performance in Richmond Monday, Mickey Pearson (John Hardin HS) added an EKU offer.
So too did Andrew Taylor (Corbin High). Together Taylor and Pearson run with Hoop Dreams 16u. This was a high school team camp though. Pearson felt he really showed off his shooting touch and unselfish tendencies during the camp.
Afterward Taylor and Pearson were invited into Coach McHale’s office, where they were told of their EKU offers.
In addition to EKU offer, Pearson is also hearing from Tulsa. Mercer. Miami (Oh), Alabama, and Northern Kentucky University.
“I went to IUPUI and I am going to Alabama later this month,” said Pearson.
With IUPUI, Pearson’s point person is Associate Head Coach Crenshaw. Former Florida Head Coach John Pelphrey reached out to Pearson on behalf of Alabama.
The 6-foot-7 forward began his teen years as a power forward, but is quickly proving wing will be his future home. Which college will land the Class of 2018 player?
EKU entered the sweepstakes Monday.
